The careful refurbishment of a listed derelict Cotswold agricultural barn, near Tetbury.
The project was completed Easter 2012. The construction involved supporting the roof internally whilst dismantiling the stone walls, stone by stone, rebuilding the walls and re-aligning the original roof trusses.
The project, adjacent to a fine Cotswold country house, and set in a bowl of green fields, incorporates a cinema and entertainment zone, a gym and guest accommodation, linked by a beautifully detailed timber and structural glass stair, and daylit by seamless full height glazed doors.
The space was delivered as a successful turnkey project with Stonewood Builders, in collaboration with Felbrigg Design (Interior Design).
