Ben Watkinson
BA (Hons) Architecture M(Arch)
Ben joined Stonewood Design in 2022 having completed his Masters at the University of the West of England where his final project, exploring the archival of collective memories, earned a distinction and nomination for the RIBA Silver medal.
He graduated from the University of Plymouth in 2013 with an RIBA Bronze Medal nomination. and has previously worked at Nash Partnership, Rio Architects in Cardiff and BPR in London. Ben is a design critic at the University of the West of England,
During his time at Stonewood Design, Ben has worked on a Creamery in Somerset, which was awarded a RIBA South West and Wessex Award 2026, and is is currently working on the conversion of farm buildings for holiday accommodation for Dyson Farming.
